Snowy Arches

We took a walk through the woods on Christmas Day and encountered many, many snowy arches. At times I felt as though I were walking through a doorway, to a different world, different possibilities ... as I quietly dreamed of the writing possibilities in the year ahead.

Your pictures are gorgeous! I absolutely love natural arches. There is one near our house of branches and grapevines. We almost always have to pass under/through it when we walk the dog. And you are right, it's like stepping into another time/place/space.

Vijaya,
Your pictures made me miss and reminisce about winter trips to Lake Tahoe, CA. I'm in no snow or mountains Texas. Thanks for kindling the fond memories.
Happy New Year,

Thank you, Rena. It's all melted now and sadly there's flooding in many areas (not where I'm at -- thank goodness for hills).
