Gosnell Convicted

Justice has been served. I thought it ironic that Kermit Gosnell asked for his life to be spared, when he is the murderer of hundreds of babies. He chose life for himself. Let's hope he repents.

I am thankful that this trial has brought the sin of abortion into the public eye again. We no longer have the horror of sin because it is so common. I'm estimating from the statistics at the Guttmacher Institute that nearly half the women in the United States have had an abortion. That's staggering. We are a nation spiraling downward into death and destruction. How can we have a future when we kill our children?

Our current President gave a speech to Planned Parenthood and praised it "for saving lives and helping women and families." And then he had the nerve to say, "Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you."

Huh?

Mr. President, you have it backwards.

Abortion always ends in the death of a baby. It ruins the life of the mother. It tears families apart. And God does not bless the slaughter of innocents.

Pray for our country.

Somehow I'd missed the development of this story until yesterday... I've been so emotional that Mark is kind enough to shield me from things certain to make me sick... It's hard to believe there are such evil people in the world.

Faith, I should've warned you too. I'm sorry you had to see this here. Peace my friend.

I'm so glad justice was served. His actions were so completely perverse, his case was a shock to people on both sides of the issue (thankfully!).

Pray, indeed. Too many people in this country don't seem to even care. I feel like our country is racing toward a brick wall and no one is looking out the front windshield.
God bless.

This trail should have been front page and discussed on the news but only 7% of Americans knew of this. But truth prevails and as much the media might want to keep this from the public eye, God will bring this to the core of our hearts. This is just a beginning. There are hundreds of abortionists committing these crimes but our society doesn't want to know our hear about it because it would force us to change our immoral behavior. Our society has accepted sex before marriage, gay marriage, use contraception to stop conception and abortion to get rid of those sweet innocent lives because it's inconvenient. We've become a selfish society unwilling to take responsibility for our actions. I pray our country will wake up from this downward path it's headed on. I pray we'll all embrace the moral values we used to live by and have respect for life and love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus told us that if we love Him we would follow his commandments. Let's show our love to Him, not just in words but in the manner we live our life and let not His death be in vain. May Gosnell come to repentance while he is sitting in prison. Vijaya, thank you for being that strong voice to bring such injustices to our attention. God bless you.

Amy, I agree. Unfortunately, people still refuse to see that what he did is no worse than if the baby was killed at 16 wks or 10 wks.

Gary, I wish we were racing towards a brick wall. At least we'd stop. Now we're falling into an abyss.

Suman, I'm shocked that only so few Americans would know about this. I daresay the media is biased towards keeping the realities of abortion out of the public eye. And thank you for working on the front lines. It takes a lot of courage.

Love and prayers.

In tears, I have kept up with this story and all the horror this man committed. Babies, sweet babies...

I am glad he was convicted. I wish it had to be shown at every school and read by every student who is thinking about abortion. It would NOT be easy - but at least they would have the big picture in front of them!
