My family gets black looks from me.

Ratatouille is one of our all-time favorite movies even though I'm not a fan of animation of any kind in general. The last scene when they prepare the meal is so very imaginative. And yeah, Mother Angelica could dish it out! There's a photo of her giving black looks on TV.

Mirka, well, then we can both be sacrilegious :) I find the French style ridiculously complicated. But her book is fabulous! What passion!

Marcia, bingo on the anti. The devil likes to distort Truth, make it sound nice and reasonable. It's a fascinating book, though also creepy.Vijayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07876606729146077830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221151616674180073.post-19918369754534305152014-09-11T21:14:02.950-04:002014-09-11T21:14:02.950-04:00What a very nice round-up of books. I think we've watched too many cooking shows on Hulu for our movie nights, because suddenly I'll hear, "Well, Mama, this tastes pretty good, but I'm not fond of your presentation." !
(On the plus side, food shows really make them eager to try new foods. So maybe I'll just have some humble pie for dessert after my poorly presented meals. :)Faith E. Houghhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03823750019164801104noreply@blogger.com
