Dwight Lewis, due to be ordained this summer, is an amazing thinker, singer and speaker. His passion and commitment are contagious. He ruffles feathers, stirs up your heart, makes you cry and laugh all at once. I was quite reluctant to go to his talks (because sometimes you just want to stay comfortable and not be disturbed) but I am grateful I did. I may not be the same person after this Lenten retreat, but isn't that the point of it? To change. And change for the better.
Here is a link to his talks (March 7-10). Dare to listen.

Good for you Vijaya!
I second the cheer. I like change because I like to learn, and learning is change. It's also quite brave.
Thank you, Bish and Marcia, for your support. Dwight has given much spiritual food for thought, especially the one about having enough faith to pray just ONCE ... and then being quiet. He's not deaf, you know?!
heyeyeeye!! I have missed you, too, my sweet friend. When I saw your comment on my page, I was so excited!
I hope your Lenten season is full of good fruit and I look forward to seeing your regular posts again soon!
Thank you, Donna. It's been challenging ...
