What a thrill to see some of my favorite books on the ALA website!!! Congratulations to all the winners and my heartfelt appreciation for writing stories that make a difference. I'm looking forward to reading many of these with kitty in my lap!
It was en exciting day at our house, as I finally correctly predicted the majority of the Newbery nods. :) In fact, I even owned a few (weird personal goal), as Mark gave me The Girl Who Drank the Moon for Christmas, and I gave him The Inquisitor's Tale. He'd also given me Wolf Hollow for my birthday, and Scythe (the Printz honor, which I haven't read yet) for Christmas. So technically, it looks like MARK is the one with great predicting skills. :) Maybe this means your library will get The Inquisitor's Tale sooner. :)
