The three holiest days of the year: Maundy Thursday when our Lord Jesus Christ instituted both the Eucharist and the priesthood; Good Friday, when He endured His Passion and died, victorious--God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him might not perish but have everlasting life; and Easter, when He rose from the dead, manifesting His victory over sin and death. The story isn't over because He will come again in glory! Come Lord Jesus! Blessings to all.

I miss how strongly these holy days are felt in Jerusalem. Here they are barely a whiff of a remnant of... spring.
I hope you and your family get to experience both Good Friday on the Via Dolorosa and Easter at the Holy Sepulture someday.
Happy Easter, Vijaya!
Thank you, Barb and Mirka. It is one of my greatest desires to go to the Holy Land. My sister was able to go right before covid came on the scene, fall 2019, and walking the Via Dolorosa is one of her most treasured memories. She was even able to go to Bethlehem. Max will go in June this year. Praying!
Good for Max. June is very soon :)
Sounds like a wonderful experience. I hope Max receives many blessings from the trip. Wishing all of you a holy, happy, healthy Easter.
Thank you, Carol. And indeed time's flying...
Happy and healthy Easter!
