Coloring Books
I have a new critique partner -- Dominic De Souza. We met at Church a couple of months ago and discovered our passion for children's literature. I feel incredibly blessed to talk about books and works-in-progress critically with another children's writer, especially one as talented as Dominic. Please check out his website. And while you're at it, please think about buying his coloring book -- a beautiful Christmas gift to inspire children to Truth.

Finding a great critique-partner is one of the most auspicious and satisfying things that can happen to a creative person. Christmas came early for you both.
Great place to find a critique partner! I've only ever met one other writer at my church and, well, I married him. But he's my first and favorite critique partner! ;)
And, wow, that coloring book is gorgeous! I get so frustrated to see bad art, or just boring art, in religious coloring books--but his is spectacular. I am so excited to have found it--thank you!
I too think it's exciting to find a critique partner at church. What a great blessing for you both.
That's awesome! It's so great to have a strong crit partner.
Much luck to you both! :0)
Oooh - I'm going to check out his site this weekend. Critique partners are fab, especially ones you know have the same outlook on life as you do.
YAY for blessings!
Mirka, so true. When I count my blessings daily, I am in awe.
Faith, I love that. My husband and I also bat about ideas, but it's not the same as doing it with another writer. Yes, isn't Dominic's work truly inspirational?
Marica, as you know, our entire journey here as been full of incredible blessings.
Christy, thanks for visiting and your good wishes.
Donna, do check out the books. Your artsy girls will be inspired at more than one level. And yes, it does make a difference having a critique partner with the same faith. Definitely better.
